				<description>&lt;p&gt;HARLEYSHAVEN&amp;#160; FIRST OFFICAL NEWSLETTER &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;WIth this being the First Newsletter&amp;#160; this will be a work in progress.&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;WONDERFUL NEWS&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We here at the rescue are starting the New Year off with a big bang, We are&amp;#160; officially a 501(c)&amp;#160; rescue&amp;#160; all donations are tax deductible, and the work will begin on applying for grants to help make things bigger and better here for all our feathered&amp;#160; friends.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;SO Many birds&amp;#160;&amp;#160;here at Harleyshaven&amp;#160;for adoption&amp;#160;&amp;#160; so please spread the word that many birdies need new and loving homes.&amp;#160; The adoption page will be updated soon with all new pictures of all the wonderful birds.&amp;#160; In the meantime&amp;#160; please let people know&amp;#160; just fill out an application and in the application to state what type of bird they are interested in adopting and we can let them know who we have.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The new issue&amp;#160; of Birds USA&amp;#160; has so many great articles&amp;#160; with alot of important information.&amp;#160; Over the next couple of weeks&amp;#160; new pages under the care section will be added using pieces from this issue.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; Be sure to check back for these updates.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With Santa on his way to the North Pole&amp;#160;&amp;#160; if any of the good little birdies received new things for christmas&amp;#160;&amp;#160; consider donating any of the used things (such as perches (in useable condition), dishes, toy parts ( yes all those toys that are torn apart,&amp;#160; the parts that are still intact can be used to restring new toys).&amp;#160;&amp;#160; We do it often here at the rescue to make sure everyone has a toy.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; We also make our own toys so donation of wood would also be appreciate.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In the coming issues&amp;#160; we will be featuring a bird for adoption with picture and brief note about them.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; This will start as of next month.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If there is anything you would like to see included in the newsletters&amp;#160; please send an email to &lt;a href="mailto:Harleyshaven1@verizon.net"&gt;Harleyshaven1@verizon.net&lt;/a&gt;&amp;#160; and let me know.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks to all that help make the lives of all the birds here alittle bit more brighter.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Lisa and all the crew &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
